Criterion Product Guarantee and Warranty

Since our inception Criterion has been manufacturing and supplying high-quality outdoor goods. We have always prided ourselves on the quality of our manufacturing work and our strict adherence to using the best quality materials available.

All of our products are subjected to two independent quality control checks, firstly immediately after manufacture and then at the point of despatch to our retailers. Whilst we endeavour to make sure that all of our products reach you in perfect condition. Sometimes, problems do occur and as such we offer a lifetime warranty on our goods. This guarantee/warranty is to the original purchaser and it covers defects in manufacturing and materials. This guarantee does not cover, misuse, wear and tear or modifications.

If you have a Product Issue

We are always happy to respond to any emails, questions and queries about our products, their usage and your expectations. However, with a warranty issue you need to contact the retailer where you purchased your product from. This is because your contract is with them and not us, whilst this may seem like ‘red tape’ it, in fact, keeps all parties in the loop so we can work together to offer the best solution. When you contact your retailer please provide the following information to them;

  • The product name
  • When you purchased the product
  • The nature of the issue you have with our product
  • If possible images of the problem/issue

If the retailer where you purchased the product from is no longer trading then please contact us directly. It is helpful if you provide in the first instance:

  • The product name
  • Where you purchased the product from
  • When you purchased the product
  • The nature of the issue you have with our product

We aim to respond to issues as soon as possible, generally this will be within one working day, excluding weekends and holidays. We reserve the right to repair or replace our products on a case by case basis.
