What’s a Down Quilt?
Quilts have become more and popular over recent years, appearing to originate from in North America, they are an answer to the people who love the outdoors who would prefer a sleeping system which gives a little more room than a traditional sleeping bag. The Criterion Quantum 200 allows you the flexibility to sleep in a backless sleeping bag, with more room than in a traditional mummy-shaped sleeping bag, or fully open like the duvet on your bed at home. This makes the Quantum Quilt 200 an ideal piece of kit for use when travelling and staying in hostels and hotels.
As with all Criterion products this down quilt has been manufactured with what we think are the best materials. An ultra-lightweight and soft feel Pertex Quantum 35g/m² shell protects 200g of the finest 850FP Nikwax Hydrophobic ethical down, giving a luxurious feel and an excellent sleeping experience.
The Quantum Quilt 200 also comes with our new sleeping mat/pad attachment kit. There are three attachment points on the quilt, (lower back, mid back and shoulders) and a set of clips, two which slide over a your sleeping mat and third which can be used if desired to provide an easy way to adjust the quilt around the neck and shoulders.
